The dosage of sodium sulfate is generally 0.5% to 2% of the cement mass. It can increase the early strength of concrete by 50% to 100%.

The 28-day strength sometimes increases and sometimes decreases, with an increase of about 10%, which varies with the type of cement, curing conditions and dosage.
